“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
As a new week begins, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by everything that needs to be done. Maybe last week didn’t go as planned—chores piled up, unexpected problems arose, and exhaustion crept in. But no matter how last week ended, today is a fresh start.
Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us that God’s love and mercy are never-ending. Each morning, He offers us a new supply of grace, forgiveness, and strength. Just like the sunrise signals a new day, God’s faithfulness assures us that we don’t have to carry yesterday’s burdens into today.
On the farm, each morning brings new tasks; animals need feeding, pens need cleaning, and something always needs fixin’. But with each sunrise, God also provides new opportunities to trust Him, lean on His strength, and find joy in His creation.
As you step into this new week, take a moment to breathe in God’s grace. Whatever challenges come your way, His mercy is enough. You don’t have to rely on yesterday’s strength, He has fresh strength waiting for you today.
No matter what this week holds, step forward with confidence. God’s love is unwavering, His mercies are new, and His faithfulness will never fail you.
