Howdy, friends! I’m Alicia, the proud caretaker of Whispering Grace Family Farm, and I’m thrilled to have you join us on our farmstead adventures. Here on this blog, we open our barn doors wide to share our family farm’s stories, trials, and triumphs.

Texas Roots in the Montana Soil:

We are originally from Central Texas but after one family vacation to Montana, we were all hooked and couldn’t see living anywhere else.  Nestled in Lewistown, MT, our farm is not just a place where we live, work, and play; it’s where our hearts find peace and purpose. From sunrise to sunset, we’re tending to the animals, raising them with love and respect.

Meet our Family:

This journey wouldn’t be the same without my incredible family. Alongside me are my husband Chad, three daughters, and my amazing in-laws, Roy and Diane.  Together, we are transforming a bed and bistro/dog kennel into our dream farm. Our home is loud, usually messy, and most likely smells like a farm animal but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The Farm Animals:

We currently have 13 goats, 2 geese, 2 ducks, a peacock, 20+ chickens, and a whole lot of quails. We have plans to add several more animals in the spring. Here on the farm, we are creating a way of life that celebrates faith, hard work, resilience, and compassion.

This blog is our digital barn, where we invite you to stroll through our stories. Here on the blog, you can expect to see lots of farm animal photos, the trials and triumphs of farm life, and even some of our favorite farm recipes. We want to bridge the gap between our farm and your home, creating a community that shares in the wonders of rural living.
